Virtual Tour of the Museum
Unable to physically visit the Peace Statue and Museum der Trostfrauen? Fret not, you can still embark on a virtual tour of the museum's exhibits and listen to the museum curators share their insights about the "comfort women" issue and its significance for Germany.

Originally created by a Japanese civic group called East Sea Action, the miniature is a perfect replica of the comfort woman statue installed in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul. At height of just 12-13cm, it’s much more portable.

Elsewhere in Berlin -
A Memorial Trail
This is an extension of the Trostfrauen Heritage Trail that will look at how Berlin has memorialised the victims of the Holocaust. The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe is an interesting memorial as it illuminated the challenges of creating national self-inditing memorials to tragedies characterised by the absence of the victims' remains.
Participants will tour the Peace Statue first before going to the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe at Brandenburger Tor. For the latter, you will get to see how the memorial is integrated in the urban landscape of downtown Berlin.
Duration: 6 hours
